HP Pavilion g4-1117dx notebook
HP Pavilion is a low cost notebook available at best buy under $400. While you can find a large number of notebooks over the low cost cut off figure of $400, it is hard to find anything that costs less than $400.
This makes this laptop less expensive than the least cost iPdad. You may prefer to buy the HP g4-1117dx in place of an iPdad, as it would give you a full fledged notebook with much faster processor. This enhances your efficiency at work and office at the cost of slightly more weight.
The Pavilion g4-1117dx is powered by AMD's A-series A4-3300M processor that AMD prefers to call APU or the Accelerated processing Unit. Basically and Accelerated processing Unit combines the functionality of an CPU and a graphics making it a low cost and better alternative to the traditional processor and system architectures where processor and the graphics were designed at separate entities. AMD has received some good responses with the launch of its A series processor.
The 14 inch display is nice in the pavilion notebook. The display backlight is using newer LED technology which provide backlighting using a series of LEDs that emit light when there is current flow due to the difference in the potential across it.
A 320 GB hard disk can be used to store huge amount of data, pictures and videos. The notebook comes with 4 GB of hard disk, which will spare you 3 GB even after you use up 1 GB for the Windows 7, the operating system with which this notebook comes loaded.
