Toshiba Satellite P750-ST4NX2 review
The Toshiba Satellite P750-ST4NX2 is a great computing machine from the quality computer manufacturing company called Toshiba. In terms of quality it stands just behind Sony and its notebooks are "generally" moderately priced. However, this notebook is an exception - It will cost you close to $1000 and the only reason that seems to be behind this action is the fact that it has Intel’s Core i7-2630QM processor. The Toshiba Satellite P750-ST4NX2 also comese with 6 GB Memoryand has a USB 3.0 port. It has a relatively smaller 15.6 inch screen
The Processor that makes up the Toshiba Satellite P750-ST4NX2
The major component that makes this notebook expensive is the Core i7-2730QM, a fast quad core processor for laptops. Based on the Sandy Bridge architecture this processor also has Hyperthreading and and a better integrated graphics performance. Sandy Bridge , according to several processor reviewing sites – “is the evolutionary successor of the Arrandale architecture”. The Sandy Bridge architecture improves in the areas of the Turbo 2.0, the and the graphics section. The nominal clock rate of this processor is 2.0 GHz, that can ramp to 2.9 GHz ( not all cores simultaneously) based upon the demand.
The Pros and Cons of Toshiba Satellite P750-ST4NX2
On the plus side
- It comes with a fast processor
- Has a relatively higher 6 GB memory
- Has a USB 3.0
On the negative side
- It is expensive
- Has a smaller 15.6 inch screen , when you expect a bigger screen on a high end computing machine.
Toshiba Satellite P750-ST4NX2 is slightly overpriced. It looks like this notebook is not for common people looking for a low price computer .
However its USB 3.0 Port, the bluetooth and a faster processor could compel you to buy this notebook. For example if you plan to use USB3.0 to transfer data between your notebook and an external drive, this can be a useful notebook. If you also use a programs that need a lot of processing power, it could be good use of money. Otherwise - there are many cheaper options available.
