The Intel's second generation core i5 processor - the i5-2410M powers the Asus K53E-B1 notebook that was recently released.

We will examine the processors and its performance in the ASUS K53E-B1. You can find reviews pertaining to other parts of the notebook, including the keyboards, display, etc at other places inclding cnet. However, we felt that the processor, its architecture has been scantly covered, so we took on to cover this part in the compare-processors.

The notebook has been given 3 and a half star for this notebook by cnet, which we believe does not do a favor to this notebook. It definitely deserves better.

The core i5-2410M is is the 2nd generation Intel Core i5 processor characterized by a fast integrated graphics. The new and improved turbo 2.0 enhances the processor performance. The Integrated graphics is called HD Graphics 3000 core. Integrated graphics is a part processor on the same die and not a separate die as in the 1st generation core i5 processors. The base frequency of the graphics runs at 650 MHz that can extend to 1.20 GHz depending upon the demand. The new Turbo boost 2.0 significantly improves the performance of the processor.
